A year after our family trip to Boulder, CO (read about it here), Charlie and drummer Jerry Granelli, joined by guitarist John Abercrombie, reconvened at the Boulder Blue Note.
I’m guessing this gig was part of the “Naropa deal” promised to my father for teaching jazz workshops at the nearby Naropa Institute, albeit without the housing expenses incurred by his wife and four kids.
